What every 2010 chapter leader needs to know to get started!

National Advisors for Chapters presenters include: Bob Zimel, Mid New Jersey Chapter, Sardek Love, Metro DC Chapter, and Lisa Downs, Puget Sound Chapter.
All 2010 chapter leaders are strongly encouraged to attend this orientation session. This session is crucial for any first-time chapter leader or returning chapter leader who would like to update their knowledge of national ASTD resources and chapter leader responsibilities.
Topics covered will include: ASTD mission and values, Chapter Operating Requirements (CORE), National Operating Requirements (NORE), Chapter Leader Community (CLC) resources, Introduction of the National Advisors for Chapters (NAC), Introduction of the chapter services department, Chapter Excellence Awards (CEA), Chapter of the Month (COM) recognition, How to order discounted chapter stationery, business cards, and logo items, Leadership development programs, Tools for sharing best practices with other chapters, Joint membership resources, Toolkits and chapter leader position descriptions, Brief introduction of the Chapter Administration and Management Program (ChAMP) and web portals , Commissions earned through the Chapter Incentive Program (ChIP)
